Ryan's Whirlwind tour of VA and a Prelude to a Showdown

Well, fall break is fast closing in on Swampland, and I plan on getting the hell out. Its become my tradition to drive West across Virginia on this October weekend each year, making stops in Richmond, C-Ville, and the 'burg. This year, the tour expands to include Blacksburg and the wonderful Jefferson National Forest. Come Friday I'll be flooring it West at 110 mph trying to beat Richmond traffic to chill with the boys at VCU and then on to the mountains.
Interestingly enough, this Sunday is the Rowdy Dawg race, a part of the VA Mountainbike Series...Kyle, Andy, and Bailin' Grant Patterson* will be participating, most likely in the Dos Equis-Sponsored XXC endurance race. This will be the final head-to-head test before the slug-fest in sandville, and it will be a tour-de-force, let me tell you. Can the Roadie Fag grow a pair and brave the gnarly rock gardens and sketchy descents of the Jeff? Will Mountie Scum pull some fitness out of his ass to hang on the big climbs?
